In order to meet the growing electricity consumption needs of the island,  a new EDF PEI thermal power station had to be installed in Lucciana in Corsica. to replace the old power plant.

On this large-scale project, Boccard's teams pecialized in energy carried out the EPC work, including the electromechanical work for the new diesel power plant, which integrates tarpaulins, structural work, piping, electricity and equipment assembly. Our teams handled the complete management of the BOP from start to finish. .

Equipped with seven engines of 18.3 MW each for an installed capacity of 128 MW, this new production tool  reduces :

- CO2 emissions by 15%
- nearly 82% of nitrogen oxide emissions
- nearly 95% of water consumption
