Career beginnings between Lyon, Paris and South America

I left my 1^st contractor position at Sanofi Pasteur to join Boccard and become an assistant project manager, on a pharmacy project in France and get back into the field.

Five busy years followed with my taking on of a project manager role for the Pharmacy Business Unit (BU) on projects in South America.

A DISAPPOINTMENT FOLLOWED BY A NEW OPPORTUNITY

My return from maternity leave took place during a period of reduced activity. I got bored and thought about continuing my career elsewhere. I talked to my manager about it. . Together, we identified an opportunity on BocMobility¹ in the USA. My management and HR organized a family mobility: thanks to this scheme, my partner, also a Boccard employee, and I were able to work there for at least 3 years! We were delighted.

AMERICA AND A NEW MARKET

In France, I had specialized in pharmacy. And here I was, dealing with agri-food projects!

I made the most of Boccard’s corner stones, such as the BMS² and enjoyed discovering another market, forging links with the Montauban Business Unit. Working within a smaller entity requires versatility: I’m involved in sales, methods, calls for tender…

TEAM MANAGEMENT

After two years in the USA and my 2^nd child, I was offered a Head of Project role, leading a team of five junior project managers.

This was the 1^st time I had managed a team: I learned to contribute through guiding the work of others. After five years in the USA, my return to France was looming… and my 3^rd child arrived. This was followed by a new assignment in France.

RETURN TO FRANCE

In 2020, I became Head of the Sales Offers Quotation department in Villeurbanne with a small team. I then took over the management of a department of Project Managers and process engineers, capitalizing on the experience I had gained abroad. Shortly afterwards, a project in Poland needed reinforcements: I was offered its management thanks to my international experience.

Challenge accepted! I’m now curious to see where the next steps will take me!
