Boccard is in exclusive talks with the Altawest group to acquire Leroux & Lotz Technologies, a boiler manufacturer, and create a European leader in renewable energies.
- Boccard, a French industrial turnkey contractor for over 100 years, enters into exclusive discussion to acquire Leroux & Lotz Technologies (LLT), a historic French player in the industrial boiler market.
- Boccard-LLT would become a European leader in integrated renewable thermal energy through the energy recovery of biomass or waste.
- The combination of the know-how of Boccard and LLT would allow significant progress in the energy transition through the unique expertise in power plant construction processes (biomass/waste) that integrate boiler, energy recovery, flue gas treatment and carbon capture.

The strong growth of the Biomass- and Waste-To-Energy power/steam plants, both in Europe and internationally, is driven by three needs:
- Decarbonize electricity production, industrial processes and heat networks;
- Develop the efficiency of biomass and waste recovery and carbon capture;
- Strengthen the energy sovereignty of States while optimizing their operational expenditures.

Creating an integrated, European, world-class leader with differentiating technologies for biomass- and waste-to-energy plants
Founded in 1946, LLT designs, manufactures and builds combustion and gasification systems as well as boilers for biomass- or waste-based fuels. Additionally, it provides carbon capture technologies and operations support services.
Boccard, founded in 1918, is, on the alternative energies segment, an expert in heat exchanges, the integration of turbines and in flue gas treatment. It also brings its know-how as an industrial contractor in the management of large turnkey projects.
Boccard and Altawest have entered into exclusive committing discussion, with conditions.
